My Amazing World Travel Experience and Recommendations

I have always enjoyed traveling to other countries to experience a different perspective from home. For example, the train system in Japan is run like a Swiss clock, the food in Iceland is fantastic, and listening to a Baroque concert in Saint Chappelle is an out of body experience.

When I am exploring a potential location, I am looking for the following information:

  • How do I get around?
  • Where is the best place to stay?
  • What are some good restaurants?
  • Are there some “can’t miss” things I should see or do?

Regardless of where you are traveling to, I recommend purchasing an eSim card ahead of time. The website I often use is MobiMatter. There you enter the country or countries you are visiting and it lists multiple options spanning days, data amount, and price. The app is easy to follow and your data usage does not start until you enter the network.

Listed below are the countries I have traveled to, so far. In each link I include what I experienced in each country/city and then a summary at the bottom to give you a head start with your planning. There are many countries not on the list which translates to more travel opportunities!

  • Egypt
  • China – Beijing, Xian, Shanghai
  • Israel
  • Japan
  • Jordan
  • Singapore
  • FranceNormandy, Paris
  • GermanyBerchtesgaden, Garmesh-Partenkirchen, Munich,
  • Iceland
  • Italy – Rome, Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre
  • United Kingdom (London)
  • Amsterdam – I would LOVE to see the tulips in the spring
  • Alaska – The picturesque photos are all the reason I need
  • Canada – it is just north of where I live and I have never been
  • Southern New Zealand – I traveled to Northern New Zealand many years ago, and would love to see the Southern portion

I hope you enjoyed reminiscing with me about my land travel adventures, and you have added some additional destinations to your travel bucket list.
